Make a static Discord sticker
- Choose an image. Transparent PNG is ideal; JPEG backgrounds stay visible.
- Fit the whole image with transparent padding, or crop it to fill the square. Check the 160px desktop-chat preview.
- Download the 320px PNG. In Discord, open Server Settings > Stickers and select Upload Sticker. Choose an associated Unicode emoji and an optional accessible description.
- Input
- Static PNG, JPEG or WebP. Animation, SVG, HEIC and Lottie are not supported.
- Your output
- Exactly 320 × 320px static PNG, 160px desktop conversation preview, Actual file size and 512,000-byte check.
- Before uploading
- Discord specifies exactly 320px PNG and a maximum 512KB file. We use a conservative 512,000-byte target. Server permissions, slots and content rules still apply.
Before adding it to Discord
What size and format does Discord require?
A static sticker is a PNG exactly 320×320 pixels. Discord lists a maximum file size of 512KB. This tool shows actual encoded bytes and uses a conservative target below 512,000 bytes.
Why show it at 160px?
Discord describes a 160px desktop-chat display. Other devices and views may render it differently. Use the preview to check whether the subject remains clear after reduction.
Will the download be accepted?
Dimensions and file size are only part of uploading. You need server permissions and a free sticker slot, and your artwork must meet Discord’s content rules. This tool does not check your account or guarantee approval.
Does this remove a background or support animation?
No. Existing PNG transparency is retained. Fit mode adds transparent padding; it does not cut out the subject. GIF, animated PNG, animated WebP, Lottie and SVG are rejected. Output is static PNG.
How is a sticker different from an emoji?
This task creates a larger 320px sticker. A custom emoji uses a smaller upload and inline chat display. Use the server’s Stickers section for this output, not its Emoji section.
